Dr. Heimerdinger has almost 30 years of experience in the aerospace industry with an emphasis on space operations and the modeling of complex systems and technologies. Previously, Dan was the co-founder and Executive Vice President of Valador, a service-disabled veteran-owned small business, where he was instrumental in the company’s growth to over $10M in prime contract revenues in a four-year period. Prior to Valador, Dan was the Director of Commercialization and Sales for Lockheed Martin Space Operations’ Consolidated Space Operations Contract where he was responsible for creating the concept and starting the implementation for the commercialization and privatization of NASA’s Ground Network for satellite communications that resulted in significant operations savings for the Agency. Before Lockheed Martin, Dan was the Director of Civil, Military, and Commercial Space for Veda Inc, another small business. where he started a practice that grew to over $6M in prime contract revenues within three years.
